Science & Technology
Science education is one of the most important subjects in our school due to its relevance to students’ lives and the universally applicable problem-solving and critical thinking skills it uses and develops. we learn physical processes, human body, animals, environment , hand tools and plants.
Music in Ahazaza is a tool through which we inculcate the appreciation of cultural diversity. Our students have access to a range of musical instruments such as piano, guitars, flutes and drums.
The students have a lot of fun dancing traditionally and playing drums.
We introduce mathematics in kindergarten and it remains a core part of the curriculum through graduation. We cover measurement (metric system), algebra, geometry, statistics, operations and probability.
We conduct all our classes in both French and English. We are the only school in Rwanda to do this. (The only exception is the Kinyarwanda lesson, which we conduct in Kinyarwanda.)
